In this article, we'll discuss how to accept, reject, or counter a counteroffer, so you can easily negotiate offers in Openn.

How do I take action on a counteroffer?
Answer:
1. You can easily accept, reject, or counter a counteroffer right from the Offers tab on the Property Details page. Select the eye icon under the Details column next to the offer you want to take action on. Note: you made need to scroll to the right of the page for the Details column to display.
2. Once the Offer Details screen displays, scroll down, click on Select an action, and choose the option that applies from the drop-down list: Accept, Reject, or Counter.

Steps to Accept the Counteroffer
1. Once the Offer Details screen displays, scroll down, click on Select an action, and select Accept from the drop-down list.
2. Select Accept on the confirmation page to proceed. If you would like to look over the counteroffer details once more, click Check Details.
At this point, all parties will be notified that an offer has been accepted. Now, it's time to celebrate with your clients!
Steps to Reject the Counteroffer
1. Once the Offer Details screen displays, scroll down, click on Select an action, and select Reject from the drop-down list.
2. Select Reject on the confirmation page to proceed. If you would like to look over the counteroffer details once more, click Check Details.
At this point, you will be redirected to the property details page, and all parties will be notified that the counteroffer has been rejected.
Steps to Counter the Counteroffer
1. Once the Offer Details screen displays, scroll down, click on Select an action, and select Counter from the drop-down list.
2. Upload the counteroffer and select OK at the bottom of the screen.
Note: Whether you are a listing agent or buyer agent, you must leave a note for the agent when uploading your counteroffer. In the example below, you'll notice it says Note for Buyer Agent.
3. Select Counter on the confirmation page to proceed with submitting the counteroffer. If you would like to edit the counteroffer details, click Check Details.
At this point, all parties will be notified of the counteroffer, and you will be redirected to the Property Details page.
